About Us
Michelle Malone originally founded I&E Dance Company in 2019 due to a lack of opportunity for professional level dance training and performing opportunities in the La Crosse, WI area. Throughout the years they have performed at events such as Artspire La Crosse, Dance for Hope, Rethink Dance Festival and more.
In January 2023, Michelle expanded her vision for adult dance in La Crosse, WI and opened I&E Dance Studio, which now offers classes for ages 18+ of any level and in a variety of styles!
In September 2024, Arthouse La Crosse was born when the studio moved to the Northside of La Crosse. Incorporating all elements of art (dance, art & music) was a vision that came to Michelle, in order to inspire more adults to engage in creativity as a part of their lives!

Eddie
Kim
Swing Instructor
Eddie Kim started seriously studying the mechanics of lindy hop in 2005 in the San Francisco Bay Area and Sacramento. He found lindy hop by playing in school jazz combos and observing peers dance, noting that swing encourages dancers to express joy because of the message of freedom in its African-American roots and the lifting quality of its rhythm.
He has taken workshops for lindy hop and related dances (east coast swing, blues, and balboa) and attended major events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, Minneapolis, Washington, and Wisconsin in addition to workshops and events in Sweden, Germany, The Netherlands, Switzerland, and Australia.
